Mel Brooks: Live at the Geffen

It is a weird mix of personal stories and anecdotes with couple of really great and funny evergreen songs. It’s hard not to enjoy those stories, although I didn’t recognize all of the name drops. Nevertheless, every story has a punchline and gives a great insight of some other times. Mr. Brooks looks very enthusiastic on stage, but the old age makes him look like he’s about to cry every time he mentions someone who is, well, already dead. And they almost all are. Fortunately for us, Mel Brooks is alive and have stories to tell. He made me laugh. Again.
